Rev. Brian Gath is an Ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church with diverse experience in large congregations.  A father of two school-aged children, Pastor Brian and his wife Amy know what it’s like to struggle with the challenges of raising a family in a two-career household.  This experience combines with his genuine desire to get people connected with each other and with Christ to focus him on helping families of all shapes and sizes to find their place at St. Paul CUMC.

In addition to his responsibilities at home and at St. Paul, Brian serves as  co-President of the Sycamore Junior High School PTO, and as a member of the City of Blue Ash Board of Zoning Appeals and Board of Site Arrangement.

Pastor Brian and his family moved to Blue Ash, Ohio in 2013.  Before that he served as Pastor of Welcoming and Connecting Ministries at Linworth United Methodist Church in Worthington and Associate Pastor at Indian Run United Methodist Church, in Dublin.  His first appointment was as Assistant Pastor at Trinity United Methodist Church in Hackettstown, NJ where he lead the high school youth ministry.

Rev. Gath has received a Masters of Divinity magna cum laude from Drew Theological School and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
