Common Questions

St. Paul Community United Methodist Church welcomes all visitors and those looking for a church home! It is our hope that in the information on this page will answer any questions you may have and will help you feel more comfortable on your first visit. We invite you to look over the rest of the site to learn more about the life of St. Paul. What are you doing to help keep people healthy?

Through out the COVID pandemic, St. Paul has nimbly adjusted and taken steps to follow the best advice from our denomination, health authorities, and the government.  The safety of our community is at the forefront of our thoughts and efforts.  You can read our latest procedures and practices here.

What times are Sunday services?

We have one Sunday service each week at 10:00 am. The service lasts between sixty and seventy-five minutes. Holy Communion is celebrated during worship on the first Sunday of most months.

What is offered for my kids?

We are committed to providing a safe, fun, and nurturing environment to help the children of our community to grow in God’s love. To maximize the safety of our children and volunteers, Sunday School for children and nursery care is not currently offered.  Until our programming resumes know that children of every age are always welcome in our worship.  Giggles, squirms and shouts are received as joyful noises!
Each child in worship will be offered an activity bag complete with a fidget toy.  The church’s wifi password is: inviting.  Feel free to bring a device with headphones it that will help you or your children.
Not sure if you should bring the kids?  Here are reasons to take your family to church this Sunday.
For additional information, please contact the Kelly Getsay.

What should I wear?

St. Paul does not have a dress code, but most folks tend to dress up a bit for worship services. You will see everything from suites and dresses, to khakis and jeans, and even shorts on some of our youth. Most importantly, we want you to feel comfortable.

What time should I arrive?

We suggest that you plan to arrive a bit early to allow time to get your bearings and to check-in your children for Sunday Morning Programming. If you have time, enjoy the coffee and treats served near the worship space in the Front Parlor before and after services.
