Read Acts 15:36-41

Relationships can bring blessings. They can also bring pain. The separation of Paul and Barnabas is a witness to the pain relationships can produce. We saw there the Nephilim (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We saw ourselves as grasshoppers, and that’s how we appeared to them” (Numbers 13:33, CEB).
Do spiders dream? According to Daniela Roessler, a behavioral ecologist, they do. Roessler and her team observed jumping spiders as they slept. The researchers discovered that spiders experience something like rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, also known as the dream stage. REM sleep is the phase of the sleep cycle where our eyes dart back and forth as we experience visual dreams.

“…walk before Me and be blameless” (Genesis 17:1, NKVJ).

Genesis can read like a E. L. James novel. The stories of Genesis delve into matters of fratricide, illicit rendezvous, treacherous betrayals, and strange quid pro quos. Humanity comes off looking like a sordid, contemptible lot of characters. Who would want to hang around the likes of people such as us?  God.
