St. Paul Has Highest Worship Attendance in Three Years

In 2019, St. Paul welcomed a cumulative total of 6738 Sunday morning worshippers despite significant weather challenges last winter.  This is the highest number of worshippers since 2016 when there were 6936 people.  The 2019 total is a four percent increase over 2018.

Last January, worship was canceled two weeks in a row due to heavy late snow.  Normally over those two weeks, a total of 239 people would have come to St. Paul.  If not for the cancelled worship, we would likely have seen an eight percent increase over 2018 and more worshippers than any year since 2015.

“We don’t celebrate a number,” said Associate Pastor Brian Gath, “We celebrate the people that these numbers represent.  This increase means more people are worshipping at St. Paul more often.  Though this is just one measure of the impact of people through our congregation, it clearly shows that we are moving in the right direction.”

Currently, St. Paul offers on worship service on Sunday mornings at 10 am.  The worship features a unique blend of contemporary and traditional music styles under the direction of Worship Director Danny Frank and lead by a platoon of professional musicians.
