Meet Jeanne LeBlond, the New Director of Children’s Ministry

St. Paul is proud to introduce our new Director of Children’s Ministry, Jeanne LeBlond.  A resident of Madeira for more than thirty years, Jeanne is a retired school teacher with a degree in elementary education and a masters degree in reading.  Jeanne is a lifelong Christian and longtime Sunday School volunteer.

Jeanne’s family includes her husband, Jim, and her adult children.  You will often see one, or two, or three, or more of her grandchildren with her on Sunday mornings.

Jeanne shares this with the St. Paul Family,

“My name is Jeanne LeBlond, and I am thrilled to be the new Director of Children’s Ministry.  I want to introduce myself and share a little bit about my life.  I grew up in Chardon, Ohio which is near Cleveland in the snow belt.  I attended Miami University where I met my husband, Jim.  We married shortly after graduation and moved to Madeira in 1986.  We raised our two children in Madeira, where they remain and are now raising their families.  I love having my entire family live in this wonderful community.

I have a degree in elementary education grades 1-8 from Miami University and a masters in reading from Xavier University.  After teaching 32 years, I retired to watch all five of my grandchildren.

Throughout my life my faith has always been an important part of my identity, and being an involved member in a church community is an integral part of my life.  I am excited to be part of this wonderful church community and have the privilege to work with your children.  I look forward to meeting all of you and sharing my vision for the future of the Children’s Ministry.”
