     Sisyphus. His is not a common name. Sisyphus is the mythical Greek king who was punished for his cruelty to others by pushing a large rock up a steep hill, only to find it rolling back when nearing the top.

“Now Nadab and Abihu, two of Aaron’s sons, each took an incense pan. They put fire and

which he had not commanded them” (Leviticus 10:1, CEB).
 
     Recently, I had a conversation with a new member that went something like this. “Wow, the readings from Leviticus are sure boring.” My response was candid: “I can’t disagree with you.”
